MK1 Manufacturing builds colocation data center racks for Apple Mac Mini and Mac Pro deployments, with fixed and sliding enclosures that hold anywhere from 1 to 16 units in a standard 19-inch rack. Every kit is manufactured in the USA from laser-cut, CNC brake-formed steel, finished with a powder-coated surface, and cut to 0.02mm accuracy.
The colocation data center rack lineup is built around high-density Mac Mini deployments and dual Mac Pro installations. Mac Mini enclosures are available in fixed and sliding configurations, supporting M4, M2, and all unibody models. Capacity options run from 6-unit and 8-unit shelves up to the high-density 16-unit enclosure for M4, all fitting within 5U of rack height. Sliding kits allow front access to individual units without pulling the assembly from the rack. Fixed kits keep the profile tight for builds where rack space is at a premium.
The Mac Pro adapter holds two 2013 generation Mac Pros in a 4U sliding enclosure. Optional accessories including USB 3.0 ports, per-bay power switch toggles, SANLink adaptors, and baffle plates are available across select kits to support cleaner cable management and better airflow in colocation and data center environments.
MK1 has been manufacturing rack mount solutions for Apple hardware since 2007. Orders placed before 10AM MST ship the same day.
