The MMR-2G-5U is a fixed Mac Mini 19 inch rack adapter that holds 8 unibody Mac Minis in 5U of standard rack space. Compatible with all unibody Mac Mini models. Each unit stores vertically in an open-face enclosure that keeps airflow unrestricted across every bay. Ported openings on the bottom of the enclosure allow air to circulate freely through the entire cabinet, keeping all 8 units cool without additional thermal management.
A rear plate secures each Mac Mini in the rack without covering the front face, so ports and indicators remain visible and accessible. The plate attaches with four rack screws, making it straightforward to remove individual units without pulling the entire assembly. Per-bay wire management routes and secures cabling at the rear, keeping the build clean and making unit swaps quick. At full density, a standard 42U cabinet fits up to 64 Mac Minis across 8 of these adapters with 2U to spare.
Optional front-panel power switch toggles give per-unit power control from the front of the rack without disassembly. Optional USB 3.0 cables mount to the rear plate for front-of-rack USB access without removing the enclosure. All 10-32 mounting hardware is included.
